Perhaps the biggest difference with how the Seattle Sounders have played over the past two games is how much better they’ve been at converting high turnovers into genuine scoring chances. The goal against FC Dallas as well as the first two goals against Nashville SC all came after the Sounders forced their opponents into turnovers and then quickly transitioned into the attack.
In talking to various players this week, it seems that has mostly been the product of a mentality change. Regardless of why, it’s still good to see.
